The Bike was Delivered a day early and assembly was a breeze. I charged the battery and tested everything out and I was so impressed with this bike. For the price this bike goes above and beyond such a smooth and fun ride. The power is there the sleek appearance makes it so cool too. This is an early review 8 have had the bike for three days but I’ve already put about 45 miles on it. This product is exactly as advertised. The only thing I don’t like very much are the brakes you will need to adjust them but even after that the stopping power isn’t the greatest so just remember that part and judge stopping distance accordingly. I will be upgrading the brakes eventually. I absolutely love this bike and I’m very excited for nicer weather now

I have the Ancheer 27.5 Hummer. I have just over 200 miles on it. It has met or exceeded all of my expectations. I did a lot of research before buying, and this bike is better or equivalent to other bikes costing twice as much. The Ancheer brand caught my attention because of all the great reviews.SIZE: What worried me about the other Ancheer models was the small wheel size and the small frame size. I am 6′ 1″ and weigh 200 lbs. The bike size is large enough for me even though I plan on buying a taller seat post and I will also raise the handle bars eventually.POWER: 500 watts is perfect for what I use it for. I do not use the throttle. I mainly ride my bike for exercise. I live and ride in the foothills so the pedal assist makes the steep hills more manageable. When I first got it I would use 35% pedal assist which was plenty for the hills. I now only use 30% pedal assist.DISPLAY: The LCD display is amazing. It looks pretty high quality and you can program an incredible amount of things. You can set each bar of the battery level indicator to a specific voltage. You can also set if you want the throttle available during pedal assist (I didn’t).BATTERY: The battery appears to be of high quality and I get plenty of range. I would guess 40 mile range for the type of riding I do on hilly roads at 30% power assist. I am a little disappointed that the battery did not include an on-off switch. The battery level indicator on the battery always indicates full when I press to check it.BRAKES: The lever quality is good but at this price range all brands use mechanical cable powered brakes which are not very powerful and which need constant adjustment. The stock brake pads were horrible, but for less than $15 I was able to upgrade to Shimano brake pads which greatly improved th braking performance. Eventually I will upgrade to hydraulic brakes.GEARS: This is a 21 speed bike which is great (3×7). The shifters look cheap but work just fine. I use all of the gears due to the hilly roads I ride on. Many competitors do not have 21 speeds. This is a must for me. That being said, you can only comfortably pedal at a max of 20 miles per hour. The bike will go faster but you have to use the throttle.SEAT: It is fine. I do not plan on upgrading.DISLIKES: Not many but I worry about getting a flat in the rear tire. Most high end ebikes. have an external connector on the cable run between the controller and the hub motor. This bike does not have that. I suspect that getting manufacturer support will be difficult. I have tried contacting them and was disappointed.CONCLUSION: This is not a motorcycle. I bought it to help make my exercise more fun. I did not buy it to go fast or to ride with throttle only (which it will do). The quality seems good. I am glad I bought an ebike and I am super happy with this one.

I am a 40+ man that wanted to get back into my old passion of bike riding. When I was a teenager and in my 20s I loved riding my bike. But I’m older now and definitely don’t have the stamina I did back then. I have great bike trails near me but getting up the hills were tough on a non eBike. So I decided to research ebikes. Most of the ebikes were really expensive. But I wasn’t sure if I wanted to invest that type of money. Fortunately Amazon has some great affordable choices. I spent a few weeks researching Ancheers ebikes and decided to buy one based on the reviews and price point.PROS- Price- Power- Easy to assemble. (took about an hour)- Fun to ride- Peddle Assist- Throttle- Weight- Loud Horn- Good front light- Decent speed- Good distance- easy to get up hills- Good battery life- great for paved roads or grass.CONS- Uncomfortable cheap seat- No rear shocks- Front shocks aren’t that great- Squeaky breaks- the Battery and other box block areas you might put accessories on like a water bottle holder.- An extra battery should be easy to purchase but I don’t know if that is the case.- Not meant for rough mountain bike terrains or jumps.- The battery will drain a bit when going up a hill. But it should jump back up when you get to a flat surface. For my first eBike I’m pretty happy with my purchase. The pros outweigh the cons. Some of the cons I was able to get around. For instance with the seat issue, I replaced it with a cloud 9 bike seat and replaced the seat post with a suspension seat post. That solved the horrible seat they provide which was hurting my butt and groin. For a bottle holder I purchased one that could be attached to the main bike frame and handle bar with various Velcro straps.I plan to replace the front suspension forks. They don’t have enough tension to soften bumps.I also want to raise the handle bars. I’m 6’4 and 200+lbs. And the bike is comfortable for my weight and height. But I would want the handle bars a bit higher to match up with my seat which can be adjusted higher.Out of the box the eBike is fine. But investing in some accessories will make it more enjoyable for longer rides.Trust me when I say with this eBike you will go further than you normally would. The pedal assist really makes it easier to get up hills. And despite what people assume you can get a great work out even with the pedal assist. Because you tend to ride further so your are burning more calories. Don’t let the haters make you feel bad. Lol But if you just use the throttle then obviously you won’t be getting any excercise and proving the haters right. LolBut it’s great having the option to switch from pedal assist to throttle. I rarely use my throttle. Pedal assist is enough and will allow you to conserve your battery and go further.I’ve loved this bike so much I’ve convinced my brother in law to get one. And now my wife is nagging me for one as well. LolNow that I’m sold on an ebike, I may invest in some higher end ones if I have some extra money. But this Ancheer will do for now. It has enough power. I just wish they made it easy to purchase a second battery. If you’re looking for your first eBike and you’re not some bike snob you’ll love this bike. Even a few real bicyclist have complimented my ebike. I highly recommend this ebike for anyone looking to get riding again or using this to commute around paved roads or bike paths.Enjoy.

Purchased this bike as a late birthday gift for my son. He has two other (manual) bicycles that kept breaking down. Well, not any more!He LOVES his new bike! Says it takes some getting used to, but he’s been riding it every day, getting better acquainted with it… how to get up to maximum speed, how the brakes & gears work, how long & far a charged battery lasts. He says it’s all great! The only two things that could be better, he says, is the seat (wider) and the handle bars can’t be raised. But that’s truly fine. The height of this bike; the tires…all great for 6’2″ person. I also purchased a personalized pouch for his phone, keys, wallet, etc… Great value! It suits him just fine. Thank you.

Brilliant E-bikeAbsolutely brilliant electric bike, and does everything you could possibly want it to do. It is relativley fast but is limited to 22km/h but also comes with a host of other features, with the horn being incredibly loud as well as the headlight also being useful. The bike also functions as a regular bike with a range of regular gears. The one small criticism I had was that the instructions could be a little clearer/more detailed but overall assembly is relatively simple. However, there is no mention on how to install the throttle (which comes with it) but eventually I found (via a youtube video) that if you unscrew the small black box just infront of the back wheel you will see a port which corresponds with that of the throttle plug-in. All you need to do is connect them and attach the throttle to the handlebars and it adds another way to control the motor of the bike. However the bike functions without the throttle function as electrically assisted pedalling comes as standard.Delivery was relatively swift but disconcertingly there was little tracking. Courier however was efficient and polite. The battery is large and lasts well. The motorized wheel is already installed to the main chassis of the bike so you don’t need to worry about installing any electrics, only the non motorized front wheel needs to be fixed in place, as well as the handlebars already wiredup to the motor. One thing UK buyers should be aware of is that the plug for charging is a 2 prong German plug so an adapter is necessary to charge the bike in the UK. It also comes with a display panel which shows your speed, distance travelled and time taken for every journey- although annoyingly the distance travelled does not reset for every journey. In conclusion, this is a great moutain bike for the price that handles hills and a range of terrains and gradients and weather. One very satisfied customer and would definitely recommend.

Best purchaseThis is my second Ancheer ebike, the first being the cruiser step through bough for my wife. We are both retired and enjoy cycling but wanted to go a bit further into the countryside. This is, without a doubt an excellent ebike and once tweaked performs the job perfectly. I have done a few adjustments using the display. I come from an electronics and computing background which helped when working through the menu system. The first thing I did was change the readout from Km to miles. I have changed and tried the different assist settings from 3, 5, 7 and 9 levels but found 5 to be the best. My only gripe was that when out with my wife, her bike which only had 3 levels (and no display) that none of my levels matched hers and I was either too fast or Toor slow, for example with her on level 2 or mid and me on level 3 (mid) she was faster. The same in high. I resolved this by going into the assist level ratio settings and changed them with level 1 left as is, lel 2 changed from 61% to 65%, level 3 from 73% to 80%, level 4 from 85% to 90% and level 5 from 96% to A0 which is 100% now we are matched and the ride is much more enjoyable. Overall this is a really good value ebike and I would recommend it.

No longer exhausted after a day ridingI am nearly 70 and definitely not as fit as I should be but still like to go out cycling with my family. My teenage son takes great delight in taunting me about being a slow coach. We decided to try it out and all went riding in the countryside for about 4 hours. I could finally keep up and not feel like I am about to have a heart attack at the end of the day. Most of the time I had it on the lowest setting only putting up to number 3 when we got to some steep hills then I was way ahead of all of them.Considering I am no light weight I was pleasantly surprised that the battery lasted all day and still had plenty of charge at the end.It is easy to assemble and there was a note about pulling out the guard for the rear gears. Although the tools are provided and are quite adequate I would recommend getting a decent set of tools to make life easier. It is NOT a mountain bike but an “OFF ROAD” bike which is perfect for my needs.Even without battery assistance it is still as good a bike as the off road bike it is replacing, except it is heavier.Without battery assistance it is a still good bike for riding on a level road for these aging legs.As these bikes are very desirable I invested in insurance and the Abus Granite lock. For the longer trip I bought the Topeak MTX DXP Trunk Bag with Topeak Super Tourist Uni Rack For Disc which fitted perfectly. If I have any criticism it would be the instructions could be better but if you read them through first you can work it out. Also the lack of mudguards which I added myself.Other than that it is a great bike for a heavy old man.Now I just have to ensure my son does not steal it from me.If there is anything to report I’ll give an update after I have had my holidays in Cornwall.
